One level, every club

The number behind every player

No questionnaire, no self-assessment. The level comes out of matches actually played, and it travels with the player to any club, city or country.

1.0 - 7.0

Level

How good the player is. It moves after every rated match.

5 - 99%

Confidence

How well Ace knows that level. It climbs with every match played.

What moves the level

Every rated match nudges the number. How far it moves comes down to four things, and none of them is who talks the loudest.

Win or loss

The result is the biggest factor. Everything below scales it up or down.

Who they played

Beat a stronger pair and the level jumps. Beat a weaker one and it barely moves, so farming easy wins gets a player nowhere.

How close it was

A 6:0 6:1 says more than a tiebreak. The margin decides how much of the move sticks.

One set or a full match

A single set counts less than a full match. A whole session of rotating rounds counts as one result, not five.

What confidence means

Confidence is not a second skill score. It says how much Ace knows about a player, and it decides how fast their level is allowed to move.

It grows with matches

Every rated match adds to it. Around 50 matches a player is past 85%, around 100 they are near the top.

A break costs it

After two weeks without a rated match it starts easing back, so a returning player finds their real level quickly again.

A coach can set the level

A certified coach sets a player’s level directly in the app. That is a professional call, and confidence builds from there.

A to E, and the Ace level

Czech and Slovak clubs sort players by letter. Here is the same ladder side by side, so nobody has to translate in their head when they fill a draw.

The letter grades clubs already sort by, and the Ace level each one covers.
